End of August Wrap Up

August signals the last month of winter, theoretically anyway.  The days get longer and the suns warmth is beginning to be really noticeable.  Spring is my favourite season, so any glimpses of it are welcomed.  It is at this time of the year, that I lose interest in adding to my winter wardrobe and start focusing on spring.  Usually though, it is still too cold to transition to less layers, so swanning around in short sleeves is still wishful thinking.  It is at this time of the season, I tend to do my best scrap busting projects and this month was no exception with the making of my V1316 scrappy denim dress.  This dress and my husbands coat are my favourite projects of the month and both will undoubtedly see a lot of wear.  To date my dress has been worn to work both with and without a merino polo neck underneath and has proving to be a good between seasons option.
