Mothers Day Outfit
Today I had to play taxi mum because my son and the rest of the school council are attending Young Leaders Day. It is a bit overcast today so thought I would wear the two piece I made for Mothers day. It is made of merino. The blue I picked up at a factory closing down sale and the black was a remnant from another project also bought at the same sale. I had enough for the cardigan which has a draped front but made the patch work tunic out of leftovers by patching them together. I was really quite pleased with the result. The geometric look has a kind of 60's retro feel to it and it is extremely warm and comfortable to wear...bonus!
